Langford, council at impasse over lawsuit; lawyers say case will not end

A day after Birmingham Mayor Larry Langford fired two law firms he said overstepped their authority by suing mortgage companies on the city's behalf, lawyers with those firms said their case will continue with the approval of the City Council.
